Simple troubleshooting Techniques Biotime 8.0 upwards:
It will solve any misbehaving biotime software.(by misbehaving I mean everything that is out of the ordinary like when you click on a button it doesn't work, reports are not exporting, software just loads and it doesn't open when login in etc.
1. Locate the Biotime folder on the installation disk(local disk C etc)
2. Locate the biotime folder and open
3. go to the redis folder and copy the dump.rdb and appendonly.aof to a new folder on the desktop
4. Go back to the pgsql folder on the biotime folder and copy the postmaster.pid to the new folder created on the desktop.
5. Stop the services.
6. Go to the redis folder and pgsql folder and now delete the dump.rdb and appendonly.aof and postmaster.pid respectively
7. Restart the computer and check if all services are running.
8. Open the software and check if it is now working as expected.
